To question the fact that the love between these two is the strongest and most enduring of this entire series is denial of the most absurd kind…

They are SO meant to be. But Angel will spoil it somehow…like he always does. :l

I mean, I’m good if she’s with Angel and all, but consider this:

Spike - as an “evil” vampire - CHOSE to fight for his soul for her. To give her “what she deserved” - but I would argue he didn’t necessarily expect her to return his feelings after that.

Angel’s a good guy and all, but he had his goodness thrust upon him.
